Why are we here? We’re here to make Kickball more fun for you. We’ve been working hard this last year to bring you the best kickball experience in DC. Summer 2008 was a great season and we know Fall 2008 will be great too. And don’t worry, the season will be over before election night.
We’ve got some exciting things planned, including a fabulous charity event. Since we are always looking to improve on our service to you, we want to hear from you. If you have concerns about unsportsmanlike conduct or you have an idea for a fun event, send one of us an email. The bottom line is that we’re working to keep you kicking, flipping, and having fun.
Now, meet your board:

My name is Kirsten (pronounced kEARsten.) Not kRIsten, not Kursten, KIRSTEN. Please feel free to call me el presidente if you can’t get the name right. This is my 3rd season as president, my 5th season playing, and I am happy to help contribute to the DCKickball FALL 2008 Season.

I don’t have quite the same name issues as Kirsten, but it’s JUSTIN not Jason or Jeffton or Justine. Just Justin. I’ve been playing Kickball for a few seasons now and I’ve reffed enough games to have friends and enemies on every team. I love DCK and what our mission is all about: having fun.
I’m a photographer (especially for all you kickball couples getting engaged), web designer, event planner and consultant. DCK: Do you really live in DC, because I never see you? TEAM: Schrute’s Beet Farm/NDA (Wednesday, Independence Red) |

I hail from good ol’ Buffalo, NY. So yes, I like the snow and no, DC doesn’t have good chicken wings. I’ve long since sold my soul to corporate America, and used the proceeds to buy jumbo slice. I’ve been playing kickball since last fall and am mainly here to have a good time (and win).
DCK: Is your real name Dimple? DCK: Are your parents from India? Ps. J, i hate you for making me do this… TEAM: In the Pink (Wednesday, Frosted Pink) |

Kyle West graduated William and Mary in 2007 and promptly found himself playing kickball. He’s served the board for 3 seasons now making sure that players have a place to “socialize”. In his off time he pays the bills by working as a meeting planner for Cardiologists in DC.

He currently is a Research Analyst for CoStar Group and going to school part-time at Georgetown University where is pursuing a Masters Degree is Real Estate.

Steve joined DC Kickball in the fall of 2007 on the infamous team, “BONER JAMS ‘07 (Adam Morgan Champs Fall ‘07). He promptly infiltrated other teams during that season and when BONER JAMS left for supposedly greener pastures in the Spring of ‘08 he remained in DCK and is now on the Little Lebowski Urban Achievers. GO LLUA!! Favorite pastimes are being an official flipcup announcer, dancing to absolutely everything, and that late night goodness of an Alberto’s slice ‘o pizza with enough garlic to kill a horse.

That’s right, you heard it here last. No Babies in ‘08 defeat In the Pink in the Adams-Morgan Summer 2008 Championship title match on the National Mall. The final score was 4-1. It looked for a moment in the first inning like the babies were going to walk away with the title, but In the Pink held strong and kept No Babies from gaining another run.

Good game guys. Good game.
