Kick the Silence Kickball Tournament
Posted: March 16th, 2009 | Author: Jack Fan | Filed under: Uncategorized | Tags: Charity | View CommentsCome join DC Kickball in the “Kick the Silence” tournament, hosted by the DC Rape Crisis Center. In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, this kickball tournament is an opportunity for us all to get together and support the awesome work the the DC Rape Crisis Center does in our community. It is also a great chance to practice with your team, meet some new people or just kick some balls.
When: Saturday, April 25th from 9am-6pm
Where: Harriet Tubman Elementary School on 13th & Irving NW (one block from Columbia Heights metro station and across the street from Wonderland)
There is a $200 registration fee per team, but teams can be up to 20 players so $10 to play kickball for the day isn’t too bad and it’s for a great cause.
You must register your team by April 13th.
To join the team, contact Megan Woods at megankwoods[AT]gmail.com or here’s a link to the registration form if you want to organize your own team.
