Even though this is my fifth season, it never ceases to amaze me how
much alcohol we consume. We practically put the former Soviet
Republic to shame. Kickball is as much about going out on a Saturday
night, stubbling back home at 2 in the morning, and arriving at the
fields by Sunday afternoon. That’s what makes the Constitution
Division from all the others. Why you should fear me out on the fields
I’d like to think that I have a wicked change-up. Plus, you will be dazzled
by my red cleats. What I do when I’m not kicking
Writing about food.
Position
Pitcher
Amanda Troy (Lose Some Weight & We’ll Talk) – Ministeress of Parties

Hi! I’m Vice President/Social Coordinator and my main function is to
keep Jack somewhat sane (easier said than done…), but also to make
sure that everyone has a great time this season. Why you should fear me out on the fields
That’s a secret…the “victorious” kind.
What I do when I’m not kicking
Business Analyst for BearingPoint (consulting firm)
Position
Outfield
Thomas Boudreau (short timers) – Weekly Newsletter Mogul

I’m your average guy who loves less than serious competition, as well
as less than serious prose. Hence a natural for communications chair
of a Kickball league. So I’ll be sending out the occasional email about
standings, upcoming games etc probably with a few bad jokes that
amused me when I was writing it up.Why you should know me
You should know me because I enjoy using extravagant gambles/
strategies in games (kickball included) that often just barely help, and
more often blow up and make thing much worse. Either way its
entertaining. Why you should fear me out on the fields
Years of select soccer training & years of post college drinking.
Also I do not have premature old man shakes to ruin my flip cupping
ability.What I do when I’m not kicking
Senior Consultant for Capgemini LLC (French Consulting Co. similar
to Accenture)Position
The position under the ball you just kicked, unless you bunted, as
being in the dirt is no good.
Dan McCabe (This Is How We Kick It) – Attorney General
This is my first season with DC Kickball both as a board member andas a player. I’m in charge of making sure everything operates smoothly, and making sure that our kickball games don’t resemble a scene from“Mad Max.”Why you should know me
Rules questions? Poor umpiring? Wonder how many extra points you
get for beaning a tourist on the hear? I’m the guy to ask.Why you should fear me out on the fields
Well, I did play football in high school …
What I do when I’m not kicking
Associate General Counsel at Howard University
Position
First Base. Sliding Home.
Matt Toigo (short timers) – Commissioner on Charitable Outreach

This is my 5th season playing in DC Kickball and my third season on
the board. This year I’m heading up the community service end of the
league. Volunteering is important to DC Kickball so that the league
not be perceived as a bunch of drunks who don’t do anything besides
play flipcup. Life is pretty good here in DC for the majority of us,
so my goal is just to have DCK give a little bit back to the city that
gives us fields to play on every Sunday. You can read more about our charity and volunteer efforts here. Why you should know me
Throughout college I often rode a unicycle to parties, got drunk, and
rode it back. With enough convincing I might even ride it to a few of
the games on Sundays. I also learned to juggle so that I’ll have
a backup career in the circus for when this whole computers and
internets fad is over with. Why you should fear me out on the fields
If you need a reason to fear me on the kickball field and flipcup
table, this should strike fear into your heart. What I do when I’m not kicking
Web Developer
Position
Play relief pitcher sometimes more often than not, but also usually
end up playing hung over beyond repair from Saturday night.
Matthew Bryant (Drunken Dodgers) – Registration Guru

For my third season of DC Kickball, I decided to help out a little more
and become better at learning names of the people that I played ball
with every Sunday afternoon. I now know a lot of people’s email
addresses and shirt sizes. I’m looking forward to playing kickball
again, I had a great time my first season ( I still blame Secret Service
for making us loose that game, its not every day that Marine One and
the president’s motorcade go by as you are in the outfield) and I
cannot wait to help the Drunken Dodgers get to the playoffs-again.Why you should know me
I sent you enough emails about team merging, shirt colors, and
payment that my email address flooded your inbox. So if those emails
alone dont make you want to get to know me, than I really don’t know
what would. Except for my sense of humor. And emails that don’t deal
with kickball. Why you should fear me out on the fields
Hahaha, that’s a joke right? Fear the team, not the player. But hey, I
know your email and I know your shirt color, fear that knowledge. What I do when I’m not kicking
Kicking includes bunting right? There are just sometimes when you
just have to bunt to get to that base. But beyond that, I work as a
consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. But mainly I play kickball or send
emails relating to playing kickball.Position
By default, I am one of the co-captains, but usually I go and stand out
in the outfield and cheer people on (this season Im going to learn my
teammates names)
