Lawsuit Settled
Posted: April 23rd, 2008 | Author: admin | Filed under: Uncategorized |It’s been over two years since DCKickball was sued by WAKA. I won’t re-hash the details as they have been well documented. I am very happy to announce that the lawsuit has been settled. I hope you all understand that I can’t discuss the details of the settlement, except to say that the lawsuits between WAKA, DCK Sports, DCKickball and myself have been settled to the satisfaction of all parties.
The purpose of this post is really to thank everyone who supported DCKickball during this process. Without your support I can state emphatically that DCKickball would have been shut down and we wouldn’t be playing games right now.
By all account, this is going to be one of our best seasons ever. There are over 85 teams playing kickball this summer. I am very grateful to have our league’s legal situation resolved so that we can go back to focusing on the things that really matter: kicking balls and flipping cups!
