Kickball365 Tournament

1st Annual Kickball365 Open Kickball Tournament

Washington, D.C.
July 17 – 19, 2009
$1500 Cash Prize
Join by e-mailing constitution@dckickball.org.

Tournament Brackets:

  • All teams advance to tournament bracket.
  • Seeding will be determined by Pool Play results, sorting according to WAKA sort order rules.
  • There will be no time limit for tournament games.
  • Quarterfinal and Semifinal games will run for 5 innings with regular rules. If the game is tied at the end of 5 innings, beginning in the 6th inning teams may only field 8 players on the field (4 of each gender), including the catcher, and the last kicker from the previous inning should start the next inning on 2nd base. The 6th and 7th innings will be played this way. At the end of the 7th inning, if the game is still a tie, furthest kick will determine the winner.
  • For Furthest Kick, both teams take the field. Each team should pick one pitcher and one kicker. Each team pitches to their own kicker. Kickers get three (3) tries to kick as far as they can. Wherever the ball lands is where it is marked, but opposing team members may knock the ball out of the air, and wherever they were standing becomes the mark.
  • The final game goes until one team is declared winner. There will be no tie breakers.

CONS FCT S09 Champ

CONGRATULATIONS to the Orange Iguanas.

In a triumphant show of natural talent and tactical superiority, the Constitution Division’s Orange Iguanas reigns as champions of the Summer 2009 Divisional Flip Cup Tournament hosted yesterday, June 20, at McFadden’s.  The Orange Iguanas lost only one game (out of 28) throughout the entire tournament.  Second place goes to I’d Hit That.  Followed by This is How We Kick It in third place and We’ve Got the Runs in fourth place.  Congratulations again … you guys know how to flip it.
